Rulon Gardner to Commentate for Wrestling Worlds on Universal Sports

Rulon Gardner will be commentating for the 2009 Wrestling World Championships in Denmark. Universal Sports’ coverage will include television and live online streaming video!

Ode to Rulon Gardner

The following excerpts are from an upcoming article by USA Wrestling coach Steve Fraser, that will appear in WIN magazine.

“Besides his unbelievable international results, Rulon has been an ambassador for not only Greco wrestling, but for all wrestling. He has touched the lives of many youth wrestlers since reaching his great wrestling accomplishments. Everywhere he travels, for clinics or speaking engagements, he represents our sport with great honor. He reminds me of the pied-piper–the kids flock to him in the hundreds. And they all love him because he loooks each one of the kids in the eye, and makes them feel noticed and special.”
